About Shopping Center
Solutions:
SCC was created in spring of 2005 after the retirement of Scott MacDonald as President of New Plan Excel
Realty Trust. After 33 years in the real estate industry including many positions in shopping center development and operations,
Scott elected to retire from public company life and devote his time to issues and activities of personal interest.
SCC
is the vehicle that Scott uses to provide consultation services to industry colleagues. He only undertakes a few assignments
each year that are particularly challenging or involve creative solutions.
In July, 2008 Scott accepted the position
of Chairman and CEO of Investa Property Trust in Sydney, Australia. At that time, he suspended his consulting practice to
devote full time to Investa.
